Accutane, also known as isotretinoin, is a powerful medication used to treat severe acne, treatment-resistant moderate acne, and acne that causes scarring or psychological distress
Standard dose Accutane is associated with more intense side effects like severe dryness of skin, lips, and eyes, nosebleeds, and joint pain. Low-dose Accutane typically results in milder side effects, such as mild dryness and less severe muscle aches, with a reduced risk of more serious issues like vision or hearing changes.
